Trade between Britain and China could be improved

HONG KONG : British Foreign Secretary William Hague said on Monday that trade between Britain and China could be improved. Speaking at the Asian Financial Forum in Hong Kong, he said Britain would work to cut trade barriers, and help reform the international financial system. Some of the movers and shakers from the business world are in Hong Kong this week to discuss issues facing the global economy such as inflation. Britain's Foreign Secretary Hague is also in Hong Kong, pursuing stronger bilateral ties with China and India. Apart from bringing down trade barriers, he said Britain is also keen to promote its green know-how to help promote low carbon growth in the region.
