ANZ Bank names new CEO for China business - Straits Times

SYDNEY - AUSTRALIA and New Zealand Banking Group, which is expanding in Asia, named Charles Li from Royal Bank of Scotland as the new chief executive for its China operations. Mr Li was most recently Country Executive and Head of Global Banking markets for China, Australia's fourth-largest bank said in a statement. Mr Li replaced Christine Ip who quit and moved to Singapore late last year. ANZ runs its own operations in China and also owns a 20 per cent stake in the unlisted Bank of Tianjin and Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank. -- REUTERS
