Malay community urged to continue giving feedback in shaping S'pore's future

SINGAPORE: Speaker of Parliament Halimah Yacob has urged the Malay community to continue using the various platforms available to give feedback in shaping Singapore's future. Speaking to reporters at a community event on Sunday, she said they must also not lose sight of the objectives of these platforms. The platforms include the Our Singapore Conversation sessions and the Community Leaders Forum, aimed at uplifting the Malay-Muslim community. On Sunday, people from different races and religions enjoyed a free lunch at Geylang Serai. The event was aimed at fostering friendship and understanding in the community.
