He was accompanied by his wife Patricia and a small team of supporters including Mr Patrick Loke, his campaign manager. Mr Tan appeared to be in good spirits, and cheerily greeted reporters. 'I look forward to a good result and good contest, I'm confident,' he said. He said that he was not feeling nervous. 'All my nervous energy was used up early, just before I decided to contest. After that there was no looking back, just looking forward and how to make the contest work in my favour.' He said he had a quiet dinner of steamed fish and rice with his wife and one of his four...
