Singaporeans still value political stability: analysts #Singapore

There is a swing of almost 10% votes from the opposition camp to 'PAP-camp' candidates. This is a strong indication that Singaporeans are very mature voters. They don't believe in empty promises and confrontational politics. They understand the President is above politics and they vote for stability. However, their message is very clear. They want the government which really unites Singasporeans and looks after their interest. The fact that TT only win a small margin of 7000+ votes and there is 37,826 rejected votes give another strong signal that the ruling party is losing the support from the ground, apparently with their many unpopular and bias policies. If all these 'quiet support' and 'open' endorsements from the various agencies could only garner a mere 0.34% majority votes, Singaporeans is 'demanding' for a people President.
