Pictures: Super typhoon Nanmadol leaves 16 dead

Rescuers continue their search and rescue after the retaining wall of a dumpsite collapsed during the height of Typhoon Nanmadol, locally named Mina, struck Asin road in Baguio city, north of Manila. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reported on Sunday that at least seven people were killed including the four people at the collapsed dumpsite. -- PHOTO: REUTERS MANILA (AFP) - Super-typhoon Nanmadol killed at least eight people and left flattened bridges and blocked roads in its wake as it moved away from the Philippines and churned towards Taiwan, officials said on Sunday.
