Well, he may not be wrong. If you look at it another way, people actually trust the PAP credentials, that TT and TCB are individuals of proven calibre because of their association with PAP down the years. Of course, the former is more pro-PAP and the latter is seen as more neutral. Nevertheless, it does show something, right? That the PAP brand is still trusted by people. Citizens of Singapore may hate the PAP but will still vote them because they don’t want to rock the boat and their own ricebowls.
