Kirandeep Kaur, 25, is said to have committed the offence at a fourth-floor flat at Block 80 Holland Road on March 28 this year. The jewellery included $31,751 in assorted currencies and the rest in jewellery that included a $22,000 diamond bangle. Asked by district judge Lim Tse Hwa if she had anything to say, the petite woman said that she did not take that much money and everything had been returned. Speaking through a Punjabi interpreter, she added: 'My employer is trying to place all the blame on me.' Her next appearance in court will be on Nov 2. She will remain in remand.
