Why Opposition MPs cannot be advisers: PA

The Parliament making up of different political parties is the government of Singapore, representing the needs of the citizenry and people at large. Government decisions are not and should not be a single party policy nor decisions. Even if the ruling party has a 2/3 majority, it has to pass the bills and policies through the parliament, be debated, agreed upon, heard and all, which shall comprise members of other political parties. The elected member of parliament of any party represents the interests, care and concern of the very people in their GRC or constituencies, and for programs in anti-aging, anti-dengue, there is no reason these elected MPs do not support for the sake of the very people's health and well being of whom elected them to care for. This is very confusing. PA should never portray themselves as though they are owned by a ruling party, otherwise, one day...
