SINGAPORE will be largely represented by the nation's second-string keglers at November's South-east Asia Games. This means established names such as double-gold medallist Remy Ong, and siblings Jason and Jasmine Yeong-Nathan, a 2008 world champion, are likely to be left out in favour of youth development squad players, although two or three seasoned campaigners will be roped in to lend some experience. National head coach William Woo, who returned on Monday from the Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships in Abu Dhabi, where Singapore won one gold and two bronzes, said: 'There will definitely be a new group of bowlers. You will see new faces and younger players.' The decision to blood new keglers at the Palembang Games comes as part of the Singapore Bowling Federation's (SBF's) build-up to the 2014 Asian Games.
