RISKS to investing in Asian bonds and equities this year include inflation and policy makers who may be a tad too slow in responding to the threat of asset bubbles forming. Despite these risks, however, Aberdeen Asset Management's market outlook remains positive for 2011, expecting the Asian growth story to continue, led by economic powerhouses China and India. Discussing its annual outlook on Tuesday, the fund manager said it believed Asia's growth will continue to be fuelled by domestic spending and investment, after the recovery in exports late last year. Aberdeen expects Asia to gradually 'decouple' from the West - continuing to grow while the United States and Eurozone economies slow down - based on the region's superior economic fundamentals.
