The world's top scientists are now scrambling to answer how a particle could travel faster than the speed of light. In the world of supercars, something similar is happening because of Automobili Lamborghini. Even in the realm of the super-expensive and super-quick, the new Aventador LP 700-4 is quite something. With a fire-breathing 6.5-litre V12 that releases a jaw-dropping 700 horsepower, a 0-100kmh time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 350kmh, the Aventador has no paper equal on our roads. Technically speaking, should conditions be clear, you could do Tuas to Changi in eight minutes. But it's much safer putting your right foot down on track, which is why Lamborghini held a "Dynamic Launch" at the Sepang International Circuit last week.
