[CNA] Prince Andrew visits S'pore

SINGAPORE: A collaboration between Singapore's Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the United Kingdom's (UK)University of Manchester got some royal endorsement, on Friday. The universities launched the Master of Science (MSc) Project Management Programme developed in conjunction with aerospace giant, Rolls-Royce. It aims to fill a gap in professional training for Singapore's aerospace industry. The Duke of York Prince Andrew officiated at the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the two universities. Prince Andrew, who is Queen Elizabeth's second son, is also in Singapore to promote UK's trade and investment interests. The programme is currently delivered by the University of Manchester and Penn State University. NTU will begin admitting students for this programme next year.
