95 Singaporeans returns from Egypt: MFA: NINETY-FIVE Singaporeans, 81 of which are students, have return safely

NINETY-FIVE Singaporeans, 81 of which are students, have return safely to Singapore with help from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) following protests in Egypt. In a statement released on Thursday, the MFA also revealed that another 102 students and 31 Singaporeans are expected to return on Feb 4. Singapore students in Cairo have been in contact with the Singapore embassy there, as well as the Islamic Religious Council and the Singapore Student Welfare Organisation in Egypt. The MFA added that Singapore Airlines, in view of the tense security situation, has also facilitatied the return of all Singaporeans who wish to leave Eygpt. MFA said it will continue to monitor developments closely, the safety and well-being of Singaporeans in Egypt has been of paramount concern.
