Golf: Taiwan's Tseng leads in storm-hit Australia

MELBOURNE - Defending champion Yani Tseng of Taiwan and South Korea's world number one Jiyai Shin are set for a showdown over the final 36 holes of the Women's Australian Open at the Commonwealth Golf Club. The 22-year-old Asian superstars will go head-to-head at the weekend in Melbourne after Tseng added a second round 67 to an opening 70 to reach nine under par on 137. Shin, joint leader after the first round, was two shots back at seven under par through 33 holes, after being forced to leave the course when a severe storm hit late Friday. Shin will complete her second round early Saturday before going out again for her third round. Also in contention at seven under was another of the Koreans, Ji Eun-Hee (69-70), while American Jennifer Song (67-73) was in fourth spot a shot further back.
