Traffic along M'sia's North-South Expressway is moving, albeit slowly, with congestions reported in several routes

PETALING JAYA - TRAFFIC along the North-South Expressway (NSE) is moving, albeit slowly, with congestions reported in several routes especially in the north between Ipoh and Penang on Saturday. A PLUSLine spokesman said that as at 12pm, several stretches were packed with cars - from Juru to Bukit Tambun, Changkat Jering to Kuala Kangsar and Nilai to Seremban. He said there was a noticeable increase in the traffic from the north towards Kuala Lumpur with the traffic towards Kuala Lumpur from the south was normal. Vehicles moving from the city centre towards the south had also visibly increased. 'It seems that many are still rushing home for the celebration with some of them already getting back to the city centre for work,' he said, adding the traffic, however, was moving and no accidents had been reported.
