SINGAPORE - While it is not possible to create equal outcomes for everyone regardless of their background, education remains an important social leveller, said Education Minister Heng Swee Keat. "To begin with, even with the same home background, you won't have equal outcomes," said Mr Heng, in an interview with Today last Friday. Mr Heng said the Government will do its part to ensure no child is left behind by investing heavily in education and maintaining the structure of Singapore's education system.
