Brazil becoming a favourite travel destination

SINGAPORE : Brazil is shaping up to be a favourite travel destination, especially among Singaporean business travellers. IE Singapore said it facilitated 24 trade missions to Brazil for Singapore companies last year. This year, it expects at least 20 of such missions, adding that this is a conservative estimate and the number could likely be more. This is on the back of growing trade between Brazil and Singapore, which expanded about 7 per cent to S$3.75 billion last year. Singapore-based textile exporter Kay Bee Group said it makes more than S$400 million or 90 per cent of its revenue from Brazil.
