Rare African Penguin chick hatches at Jurong Bird Park after 9 months of husbandry

It's another first for Jurong Bird Park - an African Penguin chick, hatched on Aug 22 after nine months of careful husbandry. Its parents moved there from the Singapore Zoo and started nesting soon after arrival. General manager Raja Segran said they acclimatised quickly under the watchful eye of the keepers.
