Barn owl at Toa Payoh MRT Station Silly owl, there's no Platform 9 3/4 there!

An owl found its way into Toa Payoh MRT station and surprised commuters this morning. STOMPer Chun Seng spotted the bird clinging on to a panel in the underground station. The STOMPer recounted the incident: "I was on my way to work when I saw a commotion at the MRT station. "I couldn't make out what it was at first. "Upon a closer look, it was an owl hanging by a leg on a panel! "Concerned that the owl could fly into a crowded train and cause chaos, the MRT staff acted quickly. "It was finally caught with the help of a friendly commuter and the staff took it away in a box. "The owl wasn't hurt in the process."
