SINGAPORE - Demand for jobs from a growing world population and providing economic opportunities for the poor or disadvantaged. These issues will be discussed at the World Entrepreneurship Forum to be held here in November. This is the first time that the meet is being held in Asia. Into its fourth year, the forum is a platform for participants to share best practices in entrepreneurship. The global think-tank believes the promotion of entrepreneurship will help the poor earn an income through business. The forum is expected to focus on: Creating innovative and high-growth companies, to create millions of jobs around the planet; developing entrepreneurship to alleviate poverty and create new markets; shaping entrepreneurial cities to be tomorrow's centres for innovation, and; implementing education to disseminate entrepreneurial thinking, skills and competencies throughout...
