The Governor of Bangkok, Mr Sukhumbhand Paribatra, warned that Sai Mai and Don Muang Districts in northern Bangkok might be hit by floods within the next 48 hours, if its reinforcements to the dykes fail. Given the unpredictable situation, the Singapore Embassy in Bangkok has been advising Singaporeans there to take 'all necessary precautions' should the situation worsen.
