Team ElderGuardian from #ImagineCup 2011 announces a clinical trial for their stroke rehabilitation software!

SINGAPORE - It did not take home the top prize at Microsoft's Imagine Cup Championship in the United States in July, but the project will now have a shot at making an impact on the lives of stroke patients. The winners of the Singapore leg of the competition will see their Therapy and Rehabilitation Assistant (TARA), a tool to help assess stroke severity and rehabilitation, in a full-scale clinical trial at a hospital here. The team - comprising Mr Satrughan Kumar Singh, Mr Wong Kin Seng and Mr Kim Arvin Galutera Evangelista, current and former Infomation Technology students from Temasek Polytechnic - made the announcement last Friday at a Microsoft Xbox 360 event.
