MR JEFFREY Law may not fully understand the predicament of women commuters ('Stand up to sexual predators, and enlist help of others'; Monday). While I agree that we should stand up to sexual predators, that is no easy task. If Mr Law has ever been molested, he may take a different view. I use public transport daily and have been subject to molestation. I have been afraid to voice it out or shout for help to apprehend these molesters. I believe that there are many other women who feel the same way. So a female-only section in trains makes sense and will be welcomed by most women commuters. While it is true that molesters strike in other public places like malls, public transport is different.
