BRUSSELS: The EU's foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton has announced she's travelling to Tunisia next week and, possibly even Egypt and her critics have said its about time that the European Union starts taking a leading role in the region. Catherine Ashton is Hillary Clinton's European counterpart, and questions are being raised as to why she - and the EU as a whole - has been so slow to react. As the revolts on the streets of Cairo continue, Egypt and other Arab countries continue to pose a huge foreign policy challenge for both Washington and Brussels.
