As of Friday, more than 2,000 nationals, mostly women and children, had returned. -- PHOTO: AP JAKARTA - WHILE Indonesians have been keeping close tabs on events in Cairo and discussing online the need for democratic reform in Egypt, their reaction has been mostly muted in tone and rational. Many were concerned when the revolt broke out two weeks ago, as more than 6,000 Indonesians were studying or working in Egypt then. When it seemed as if the government would not evacuate them immediately, television news stations interviewed Indonesians with children in Egypt, and showed them fretting and crying.
