HONG KONG - Three Hong Kong triad members have been jailed for life for the grisly murder of a crime boss who was rammed by a vehicle and then hacked to death outside a luxury hotel, a court said Friday. A spokeswoman for the High Court confirmed Thursday's verdict and said two other triad members were acquitted. The court heard the brutal August 2009 murder was revenge for the victim smashing a gangster's face with a bottle during a bar brawl. Hong Kong's notorious triads have a hand in extortion rackets, prostitution, drugs and copyright piracy - although violence is rarely seen in tourist areas. A jury convicted Lee Wan-kong, Lo Chin-wang and Lee Chun-kong - all members of the Wo Shing Wo triad - of killing the 41-year-old boss of the rival Sun Yee On triad, Lee Tai-lung.
