LONDON: Nottingham Forest secured a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Championship leaders QPR despite playing with 10 men for over an hour at Loftus Road on Sunday. Billy Davies's promotion-chasing side looked in deep trouble when Polish midfielder Radoslaw Majewski was shown the red card for a two-footed lunge just after Tommy Smith had fired Rangers into the lead. But David McGoldrick equalised for Forest before half-time and the visitors defended superbly to keep Neil Warnock's team at bay for the rest of the match. The draw shouldn't damage QPR's promotion prospects too much as they are six points clear of Cardiff and Norwich in second and third place respectively.
