STORING your shoes properly and utilising the space available to its maximum potential is almost an art form. It's common sense that the pairs you wear most frequently should be placed in racks or cabinets close to the door. Next, think vertically. Shoes which are used less often can be stored using a hanging shoe organiser system that can be either hung behind your doors or in your closet to free up floor space. Do make sure that they are made of more "breathable" materials such as cotton or canvas. A stackable shoe cubicle from brands like Shoebby is another good option. Lastly make sure you air and clean your shoes before storing them to prevent mould and odours.
