MFA urges S'poreans to avoid non-essential travel to Yemen: SINGAPORE: Singapore's Foreign Affairs Ministry has

SINGAPORE: Singapore's Foreign Affairs Ministry has recommended that Singaporeans defer all non-essential travel to Yemen for the time being in view of the serious security situation in Yemen. It added that Singaporeans who are already in Yemen are advised to avoid unnecessary travel within the country, in particular to avoid the areas where demonstrations are occurring. The ministry said they should be on high alert and monitor the news closely and take the necessary precautions for their personal safety. The ministry added that Singaporeans currently in Yemen who are concerned about the security situation should leave if it is safe to do so.
