A man in Vietnam has it much worse with a tumour on his right leg weighing 90kg and measuring 1.2 metres in diameter. 31-year-old Nguyen Dua Hai was born a normal child, but at the age of four showed signs of his right leg growing much faster than his left. When he was 17, the tumour weighed 25kg, and he had his leg amputated at below the knee at Lam Dong General Hospital. The resident from the town of Da Lat is unable to move and can only sleep sitting up. His 61-year-old mother has been taking care of him through the years, but she may not be able to do so for much longer due to her failing health, according to a report on AsiaOne. In 2001, the tumour returned on his amputated leg, causing excruciating pain in as it swelled and spread around his lower body and back, growing to its current size of 1.2 metres.
