First contingent of Singapore athletes leaves for SEA Games in Indonesia

The swimmers, shooters, and Silat exponents were given an official Team Singapore send-off which included some cheers and a song and dance segment. Deputy Prime Minister and president of the Singapore National Olympic Council Teo Chee Hean and Acting Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports Chan Chun Sing, were also present to send the contingent off. Singapore will be represented in 33 out of the 42 sports at the 26th edition of the Games. Starting this Friday, the Jakarta and Palembang Games will end on Nov 22.
