Man jailed 14 months over clinic break-ins, theft

A 24-year-old man was jailed for 14 months on Tuesday for breaking into clinics and stealing cough mixtures and other items. Isaac Li Tze Han had admitted to three counts of housebreaking and theft with his accomplices between June and September last year. Li admitted breaking into Sin Min Clinic at Upper Thomson Road with Teo Boon Hee and Samo Chean Khai Kwan, both 26, on July 19 last year and stealing 20 bottles of cough mixture and five boxes of drugs worth $165. Earlier on June 24, both Li and Teo broke into Kee & Partners Family Clinic at Serangoon North Avenue 1 and stole cough mixture and two laptops amounting to $2,628.
