HSR jumps onto cloud computing bandwagon

AT LEAST one major property firm has jumped onto the cloud computing bandwagon. Real estate agency HSR, which has more than 2,700 agents operating in South East Asia, announced today its tie-up with tech giant Google to migrate some of its services to the cloud. What this means for keen house hunters is that hypothetically, one could check the availability of the number of units left for sale in a development for instance, via the property agent's shared Google documents or website. Agents can also upload details like floor plans and location maps to share among themselves or with prospective buyers.
