Smartphone saves worker who got shot at during armed robbery

This article is contributed by the STOMP Team Smartphones are an indispensable tool for many, and for one worker in the US, it was a life-saver as well. According to an article on coolsmartphone, an employee at a petrol station has his HTC handset to thank for being alive after getting shot in an attempted robbery. A man entered the petrol station and demanded that the employee open the safe, however he ended up firing a single shot after the safe could not be opened. The shot hit the employee in the chest, but his HTC smartphone stopped the bullet. Aside from a few chest pains, the employee is perfectly fine.
