Quality Of Living “Not Lowered” Despite Smaller Flats. Really?: Wei Wen, The Online Citizen Everyone can see that...

I’m not saying that new flats should have all the features that old flats used to have, because that would be asking for the moon (i.e. unrealistic). Given the much larger population in Singapore, its inevitable that old comforts have to go to make way for additional living space. But please, don’t try to tell anyone that the quality of living has not been “lowered” because it has. And we, the citizens are willing to overlook certain discomforts for the benefit of other fellow Singaporeans, we’re all in this together. But we do not appreciate comments which claim that the quality of living in regards to HDB property has improved or been the same as the 80s, because it simply isn’t.
