Our Sunday Special: A family of six, living on S$1,900 a month

The government is subsidizing for all the wrong reasons now. Many families do not even have a car, pay lesser for phone bills and use prepaid cards,etc. They are now encouraging society dependant on subsidies.What next-subsidize CoEs and pay parking fines and repair costs for vehicles.Many who earn higher salaries are in worse situation without having to depend on subsidies. Hope the government analyse situation so "dependants don't go arouind chasing subsidies from one body to another as many have honed their skills to get subsidies from various orgs as they know "stupid officers" are desperate for votes.
