Flooding that began in late July has affected more than 13 million people, attracted international attention and scared away many tourists. Parts of Bangkok have flooded, and there had been fears that water could reach the entire city. But the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority reported on its website on Wednesday that the city's flood situation has improved.
