Golf: Eagle puts Tseng in pole position in Thailand

PATTAYA, Thailand: A dramatic eagle on the 18th hole gave world number one Yani Tseng a one-stroke lead going into the final round of the LPGA Thailand tournament on Saturday. Taiwan's Tseng has a three-round total of nine-under 207 after a 70, one clear of South Korea's Kim In-Kyung (72) and Michelle Wie (71) of the United States in the $1.45 million event at the Siam Country Club Old Course. Paula Creamer of the United States is in lone fourth place on 209 after shooting a 70, with Australia's Karrie Webb a stroke further back after a 68 in the season-opening tournament. New world number one Tseng, who has five career LPGA titles, is in search of a win for the third consecutive week following two victories on the Ladies European Tour in Australia.
