Serial shoplifter accused of online cheating denied bail

Goh Lee Yin is accused of not paying a woman who sold her two Hermes bags worth $67,500 in an online transaction in October. The 30-year-old also failed to pay a total of $43,200 to two other women in September and November for four other Hermes bags. She was charged with cheating last week. Court papers state that Goh, now unemployed, managed to convince Ms Cindy Lestari, 21, that she had transferred the money to her bank account last month.
