I guess two wrongs do make a right in this case? A paralympian walks again, thanks to another accident

THE HAGUE - After 14 years in a wheelchair, Dutch paralympic cyclist Monique van der Vorst stunned doctors by walking out of hospital - after an accident jolted her back to her feet. Lying in her hospital bed, the 27-year-old suddenly felt sharp spasms in her legs. The pain was agonising - like electric shocks - and exhausted her shattered body. But instead of being concerned, she was overjoyed. She felt a tingling sensation in her left foot and began regaining feeling back in her legs. She eventually managed to walk again. "I still cannot believe I'm actually walking, having sat in a wheelchair since I was 13 years old," said Ms van der Vorst. "I called my mum and dad and my brother and said: 'You have to come to the hospital, I have something to show you'. They came and just couldn't believe it when I greeted them actually standing up."
