Do PR practitioners have the unhappiest jobs in Singapore?

By Shawn Lee Miller, Multimedia Journalist In a recent JobCentral survey, public relations (PR) professionals were ranked as the unhappiest group of workers here in Singapore. PR practitioners we spoke to agreed that the job does have its challenges but that the level of happiness depends on the organisation itself, and your relationship with your colleagues and managers. Ms Jasmi Kishore, an Account Executive at band p.r. who has been working in the PR line for a couple of years, felt that the job is not as unhappy as people perceive it to be. 'You meet so many people and you make friends. Not just that, you become more sociable and affable. Someone who may have been shy before joining PR, by joining PR, it grooms you to become more sociable,' said Ms Kishore. For more on life in a PR firm, check out RazorTV.
