Housing Board identifies 21 blocks in Redhill for Selective En Bloc Redevelopment Scheme

The landscape at Redhill Close is set to change by the year 2017. The Housing Board (HDB) has identified blocks 1 to 3 and 5 to 22 for the Selective En Bloc Redevelopment Scheme (Sers). These blocks, comprising 878 flats, were built in 1955, making them 56 years old. They will be more than 60 years old by the time residents move to the new replacement flats in Henderson Road. The 1,200 units of new two-, three-, four- and five-room flats are within walking distance of Redhill and Tiong Bahru MRT stations.
