Hey youths stop joining gangs, join a clan.

From the young to the old, members of various Chinese clan associations gathered to strut their stuff on Sunday. About 300 people gathered at the Scape Youth Park along Orchard Road to sing, dance and display their martial arts prowess. This is the first time the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations has organised such an event at an outdoor venue to attract youths. Besides the performances, more than 10 clan associations displayed exhibits featuring various clan activities as well as a gallery depicting the story of early Nanyang immigrants.
