Female traffickers smuggle drugs in underwear - Yahoo! via @yahoosg

Drug traffickers are getting creative in their methods of smuggling drugs into Singapore. The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) caught three Malaysian women last week attempting to smuggle drugs into Singapore by hiding them in their sanitary pads. CNB told Yahoo! Singapore that two women, aged 23 and 28, were caught after a search at the Woodlands checkpoint on Saturday. According to figures reported in The Straits Times (ST), CNB seized more than 1.6kg of heroin and 254g of Ice, amounting to a street value of around S$307,000. The 23-year-old was holding on to two bundles of heroin, totalling 924g, which were hidden between two sanitary pads below two layers of underwear and two pairs of tights. The 28-year-old had 702g of heroin and 254g of Ice in four bundles hidden in three sanitary pads and two pairs of tights that she was wearing, added the report. CNB said that a woma...
