'Unfounded' gripes: Newlyweds apologise to hotel (via ST iPhone App)

An internal investigation by Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay has concluded that several of the couple's accusations against it were 'unfounded', said its general manager Kevin Bossino. In a separate development, the couple have e-mailed an apology to the hotel. And in a statement to The Straits Times, the couple, who declined to be named, said things were 'blown out of proportion'. Earlier, it was reported that the pair, claiming the hotel had delivered poor service at the banquet at its Dragon Phoenix Restaurant, had withheld payment of the last $8,000 for their $18,000 banquet.
