Any agent who fails to do so could be fined up to $10,000 or jailed up to six months, or both, according to the new penalties announced by the Government on Thursday. The new Estate Agent Card displays clearly the name and licence number of the property agent and his firm, as well as his photograph and the registration expiry date. This is part of the Government's move to improve service standards and professionalism in the real estate industry.
