Girl falls from pedestrian bridge onto KPE #Singapore

A girl was found lying face down along the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) on Saturday morning, reported The Straits Times (ST). The girl, reportedly to be in her late teens or early 20s, was found near the Pan-Island Expressway exit where she was believed to have fallen from an overhead bridge, the paper wrote. She was taken to the high dependency unit in Tan Tock Seng Hospital after the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) received a call at 11:05am, said ST. SCDF said she had a broken right arm and left leg, but could not confirm if she sustained any serious head injuries from the fall. Witnesses told Chinese evening daily Lianhe Wanbao that the girl, who was wearing a blue top and blue jeans, landed on the road shoulder after having been perched on a flower bed of the pedestrian bridge just moments before. The polices are investigating the incident.
