Crowds throng Natas travel fair

Arriving at 6.30am, she was the first to queue up to get into the mega travel fair organised by the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (Natas). 'I came early, before all the good deals and discounts were snapped up,' said the 50-year-old, who went with her daughter. Others had the same idea. By 10am, when the doors opened, the queue had stretched to the length of two exhibition halls. The turnout reflects Singaporeans' continuing appetite for overseas holidays, fuelled further by a buoyant economy and a strong Singapore dollar.
