The newly launched Singapore Food Trail, run by Select Group, is part of a $10 million makeover for the Flyer, which saw its number of visitors rise by about 30 per cent last year when tourist arrivals went up. Converted from what was previously a drive-in to the tourist attraction at Raffles Avenue, the 16,000 sq ft indoor and outdoor space now sports a short stretch of tarmac, complete with double yellow lines. Rows of permanent hawker stalls fronted by famous purveyors, such as High Street Tai Wah Pork Noodle and Old Airport Road Satay Bee Hoon and Satay Celup, line up alongside authentic 1960s-era decorations, inc...
